Worth knowing about the 2008 Rogue
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Bulbs. The H11 low beam is for halogen headlights; xenon headlights take a D2R.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The compact spare is a T155/90D16 at 60 psi, chains or other traction devices go on the front wheels only, and the manual calls for traction devices sold by a NISSAN dealer because tire clearance is limited.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. Cars with the available Intelligent Key use a CR2025 instead.
- Roof load. The 99 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The crossbars are a dealer accessory that clamps to the roof rails.
- Dimensions. Roof rails add 1 in of height.
