Worth knowing about the 2021 Rogue
- LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, daytime running, brake light, tail light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. Trims with LED front turn signals have a sealed unit in place of the 7444NA bulb.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The compact spare is a T155/80D17 on FWD models and a T165/90D17 on AWD models.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 83 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. The manual lists fobs under FCC IDs KR5TXN1, KR5TXN3 and KR5TXN4 depending on equipment.
- Roof load. The 163 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The limit applies to accessory cross bars on the roof side rails, and loads must never sit directly on the rails.
