Worth knowing about the 2026 Sentra

  • Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, daytime running, front turn signal, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
  • Tires. Chains may go only on 205/60R16 tires, and a car carries either a T125/70D16 compact spare or a tire repair kit.
  • Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 88.5 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
  • TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
