The short answer

The 2025 Ram 1500 takes 24" driver and 24" passenger wiper blades, has sealed LED headlights with no replaceable low-beam bulb, and came on 275/65R18 (Models with 18-in. wheels), 275/55R20 (Models with 20-in. wheels) depending on trim.

Worth knowing about the 2025 1500

  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Bulbs. The 7444NA front turn bulb is on LED reflector headlamps only, and premium LED tail lamps are sealed units.
  • Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
  • Tires. The manual allows Class S chains on the rear 275/65R18 and 275/55R20 tires only, and says the Rebel cannot take chains.
  • Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 130 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
  • Key fob. Locksmith catalogs list smart key OHT-4882056 for 2019-2024 trucks only, so match the fob in hand.
  • Octane. The manual requires 87 octane and recommends 91 for full performance. Regular will not harm the engine; premium is a choice, not a requirement.
  • Fuel. Quad Cabs hold 23 gallons, long beds 33, and the high-output Hurricane requires 91 octane.
