Worth knowing about the 2020 Impreza
- Wipers. The 5-door also has a rear wiper whose length is not confirmed, so it is left out.
- LED lighting. The daytime running, brake light are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. Models with LED headlights have sealed LED low and high beams, and the halogen bulbs apply only to halogen-headlight models.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare, size T135/80D16. Search Amazon for spare tires →
- Tire chains. The manual restricts tire chains on this vehicle. The limits are in the next note; read them before you fit anything.
- Tires. The manual says tire chains cannot be used, and another traction device is acceptable only if its maker recommends it for this car.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 89 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Key fob. Models with keyless access use an access key fob that takes a CR2032.
- Roof load. The 176 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the 5-door; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
- Dimensions. Models with roof rails stand 58.9 in. tall.
