Worth knowing about the 2017 Camry
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Bulbs. The XLE V6 and XSE V6 have sealed LED low and high beams, and the manual lists no fog lamp bulb.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The compact spare is a T155/70D17, and tire chains go on the front tires only.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 76 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool (new sensor IDs are registered by a dealer; after rotation, re-initialize with the TPMS reset switch)); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (HYQ12BDM) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. Cars with the Smart Key System use a 4-button smart key (HYQ14FBA, 89904-06140) that takes a CR2032.
