Worth knowing about the 2024 Camry

  • Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, daytime running, brake light, tail light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Bulbs. Every Camry has LED headlights; the front turn (7444NA), rear turn (WY21W) and reverse (921) bulbs apply only where those lamps are bulb-type, and all other exterior lights are sealed LED.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
  • Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
  • Tires. AWD models take 36 psi instead of 35, the compact spare is a T155/70D17 inflated to 60 psi, and the manual allows chains on the front tires only and never on 18- or 19-inch tires.
  • Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 76 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
  • Key fob. The smart key (4-button; standard on XLE and XSE, optional on LE and SE) and the non-smart remote key both take a CR2032.
  • Dimensions. The figures above are for the LE (FWD); other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
  • Dimensions. SE and XSE models measure 192.7 in. long and the TRD 194.6 in.
