Worth knowing about the 2015 Corolla
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- LED lighting. The low beam is a sealed LED unit with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Tire chains go on the front tires only (the manual sets no tire-size limit), and the compact spare is a T135/80R16.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 76 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool (new sensor IDs are registered by a dealer; after a tire-size or pressure change, re-initialize with the TPMS reset switch)); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. The smart key takes a CR2032, and cars with plain keys have no remote.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the L 6-speed manual; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
