Worth knowing about the 2020 Sequoia

  • Wipers. Toyota's blade guide lists a 600 mm (24 in) passenger blade while Otto Blades lists 23 in, and the rear blade length is not confirmed.
  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, daytime running, front turn signal are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Bulbs. The stop/tail bulbs are 7443, separate tail lights take 194 bulbs, and the 21 W amber rear turn bulb has no number in the manual.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a full-size spare, size P255/70R18. Spare tires on Amazon →
  • Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
  • Tires. Tire chains go on the rear tires only (the manual sets no tire-size limit), and the full-size spare rides on a steel wheel.
  • Wheels. Aluminum wheels take 97 ft-lbf and steel wheels, including the steel spare, take 154 ft-lbf, per the owner's manual.
  • Key fob. Locksmith catalogs list both HYQ14FBA and HYQ14FBB smart keys for these years, so match the FCC ID printed on your key.
  • Roof load. The 150 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
  • Roof. The limit is for cargo on the roof luggage carrier.
  • Dimensions. The figures above are for the SR5 4x2; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
  • Dimensions. 4x4 models weigh about 255 lb more, with a 7,300-lb GVWR.
