Worth knowing about the 2023 Sequoia

  • Wipers. The connector types and the rear blade length are not confirmed.
  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, daytime running, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Bulbs. The amber front turn signal/parking bulb (7444NA) is the only replaceable exterior bulb.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a full-size spare.
  • Tires. The manual allows tire chains on the rear tires only and says they cannot be mounted on 285/65R18 tires, the SR5 can be ordered with 20-in. wheels, and the full-size spare is a 245/75R18 or 265/70R18 on a steel wheel.
  • Wheels. Aluminum wheels take 97 ft-lbf and steel wheels, including the steel spare, take 154 ft-lbf, per the owner's manual.
  • Key fob. Toyota fitted both a 3-button key (8990H-0C030) and a 4-button key with a hatch button (8990H-0C020).
  • Roof. The manual gives 154 lb with cross bars and 104 lb with the roof rack.
  • Dimensions. The figures above are for the SR5 4x2; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
