Worth knowing about the 2025 Tundra
- Wipers. The front arms use a push-button connector.
- LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, daytime running, rear turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. Only the front turn signal and parking lamps take a replaceable bulb (7444NA); every other exterior light is a sealed LED unit.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a full-size spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The manual allows tire chains on the rear tires only and not at all on 285/65R18 tires.
- Wheels. Aluminum wheels take washer-seat nuts torqued to 97 ft-lbf, and steel wheels, including the steel spare, take conical-seat nuts torqued to 154 ft-lbf, per the owner's manual.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (HYQ14FBX) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the CrewMax, 5.5-ft bed, SR5 4x2; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
