Worth knowing about the 2010 Grand Caravan
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 95 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Roof load. The 150 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The roof rack is optional, and the limit applies only to vans fitted with it.
- Fuel. The 4.0L V6 lists 87 octane as acceptable and 89 as recommended, and flex-fuel 3.3L models can also run on E85.
