The 2024 GMC Canyon takes 22" driver and 18" passenger wiper blades, has sealed LED headlights with no replaceable low-beam bulb, and rides on 265/65R18 tires as standard (Elevation); AT4 uses 265/65R18, AT4 uses LT275/65R18, AT4 uses 275/60R20, AT4X uses LT285/70R17, AT4X AEV Edition uses LT315/70R17, Denali uses 275/60R20.

Bed lengths are the maker's nominal figures measured at the floor. Tonneau covers and liners are sold by the nominal length (5-ft, 6-ft, 8-ft), so match that, not the inch figure.

Worth knowing about the 2024 Canyon

  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a full-size spare.
  • Tire chains. The manual says not to fit tire chains on this vehicle; wheel-well clearance is too tight.
  • Tires. The manual says not to use tire chains.
  • Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 140 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
  • Wheels. The 2023 redesign moved to the 6x139.7 pattern, so wheels from a 2015-2022 truck do not fit.
  • Key fob. Match the FCC ID (YG0G21TB2) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
  • Dimensions. The figures above are for the Crew Cab short bed; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
