Worth knowing about the 2015 CR-V
- Wipers. Blade makers differ by an inch on the passenger (15 or 16 in) and rear (12 or 13 in) blades; Honda's own blades are 400 mm and 315 mm.
- Bulbs. Fog lights are on EX and up, smart entry models have LED parking lights, and the upper taillights take a 168 bulb.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only, of the SCC cable types the manual names, and the compact spare is a T165/80D17.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (ACJ932HK1210A) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. The LX uses a remote-head key (FCC ID MLBHLIK6-1T) that takes a CR1620 cell instead.
- Roof load. The 165 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. EX-L and Touring have roof rails and LX and EX have a bare roof; the 165-lb limit counts the Honda accessory roof rack and its cargo together.
- Dimensions. The figures above are for the LX 2WD; other body configurations differ in length, wheelbase and weight.
