Worth knowing about the 2024 Passport
- Rear blade. The rear blade is an OEM-specific fitting (76730-THR-A21); most aftermarket rear blades for this car are sold by that part number rather than by length.
- Wipers. The front connector type is not confirmed, so choose blades listed for this model.
- LED lighting. The low beam, fog light, daytime running, brake light, tail light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. The rear turn bulb is a 21 W wedge, amber (7440NA) on models with the AC power outlet and clear (7440) on the rest.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables, on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. Chains go on the front tires only (the manual recommends SCC Super Z LT ZT735 or Super Z6 SZ435 cable chains), the manual also lists a 245/60R18 105H all-season tire, and the compact spare is a T165/80D17.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 94 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (KR5V44) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. Some keys are labelled FCC ID KR5T44, and the part number depends on the driver-memory position (72147-TG7-AA1 or -AB1).
- Roof load. The 165 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The limit is for cargo on the Honda accessory roof rack.
