Worth knowing about the 2026 Passport

  • LED lighting. The low beam, high beam, fog light, daytime running, front turn signal, brake light, tail light, reverse light, license plate are sealed LED units with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
  • Bulbs. The amber rear turn signal bulb (WY21W) is the only replaceable exterior bulb.
  • Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
  • Tires. The manual allows chains on the front tires only with 265/60R18 tires (Peerless Auto-Trac 0232605) and lists no chain for 275/60R18 tires, and the compact spare is a T155/85D18.
  • Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 94 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
  • Key fob. Match the FCC ID (KR5TP-4) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
  • Roof load. The 165 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
  • Roof. The limit is for cargo on the Honda accessory roof rack.
