Worth knowing about the 2016 Wrangler
- Bulbs. The PSX24W fog bulb is sold as 2504, and RockAuto lists the front park and turn bulb as 3757A.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a full-size spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The manual allows Class S chains on the rear tires only and names the P225/75R16 and P235/65R17 sizes for them.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 100 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (OHT692427AA) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
