Worth knowing about the 2020 Wrangler
- Wipers. The rear blade comes with the hardtop.
- LED lighting. The license plate is a sealed LED unit with no user-replaceable bulb. A failure means replacing the assembly.
- Bulbs. Halogen Sahara and Rubicon models use a 7440NA front turn bulb, RockAuto also lists a 7444NALL for the Sport's park and turn lamp, and LED headlamp, fog and tail packages are sealed units.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a full-size spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The manual allows Class S chains only on 245/75R17 tires on 17x7.5 wheels, rear axle only, and AutoSock-type devices on the other factory sizes.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 130 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- Wheels. The spare wheel on the swing-gate carrier takes 59 ft-lb, per the owner's manual.
- Key fob. Match the FCC ID (OHT1130261) printed on the back of your fob when buying a replacement; the same car can use two fob designs in one year. A new fob still needs programming to the car.
- Key fob. The part number depends on the buttons: 68416782AA with three and 68416784AA with four including remote start.
- Roof load. The 100 lb roof limit is the dynamic figure for driving and includes the rack itself. It is not a limit for a rooftop tent when parked; the manual gives no static figure.
- Roof. The limit applies to the hard top only, crossbars included.
- Fuel. Two-door models hold 17.5 gallons.
