Worth knowing about the 2015 Optima
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Bulbs. The H1 high beam is for halogen headlamps and HID headlamps use an H7, and SX models with LED rear lamps have sealed units.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tires. The compact spare is a T125/80D16 or T135/80D17, and cars without one carry a Tire Mobility Kit.
- Wheels. The owner's manual gives the wheel nut torque as a range, 65 to 79 lb-ft (88 to 107 Nm), rather than a single figure.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
- Key fob. Cars without the smart key use a folding-key transmitter that also takes a CR2032.
- Dimensions. The GVWR shown is for the 2.4 automatic; the 2.0 turbo is rated 4,497 lb.
