Worth knowing about the 2015 Altima
- Connector. Both front blades use a j-hook connector. A blade of the right length with the wrong connector will not clip on, so check the connector before you buy.
- Bulbs. The H11 low beam is for halogen headlights and xenon headlights take a D2S, and trims with LED taillamps have sealed units.
- Spare. This vehicle carries a compact (temporary) spare.
- Tire chains. The manual permits chains or cables of SAE Class S (low clearance), on the drive wheels only, fitted to the standard tire size. Chains for this size on Amazon →
- Tires. The compact spare is a T135/70D16, and the manual allows only SAE Class S chains, lists chain clearances for the 16 and 17 in wheels, and does not permit chains on 18 in wheels.
- Torque. Tighten lug nuts to 83 ft-lbs in a star pattern with a torque wrench, and re-check after the first 50 miles. This figure is from the owner's manual; an impact gun will overshoot it.
- TPMS. New sensors on this car need a relearn (tool); they will not pair on their own by driving.
